Compare this to the picture taken about 1973. I find it impressive to compare the size of the sycamore tree between the two pictures. Can you believe that at one time, they tried to kill that tree by packing salt into the tre, but it refused to die. |

Look closely. The white specs are not flaws in the picture, but actual (huge) snowflakes. The mill has been replaced with a small building to cove the spring house. |
